Born in Mexico, Ramírez is a contemporary abstract artist living and working in Jacksonville, Florida. She earned a B.A. in Fine Arts from the Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes in Chihuahua, Mexico.

Her artistic process is based on the contemplation of nature and her surroundings, and the interplay of color and composition. She is represented by local and regional galleries and her work has been featured in solo and group exhibitions in Mexico and the United States.
