All Captains and Crews Invited to Participate!
Deck your hulls and kick off the holiday season on the St. Johns River as thousands of spectators view the parade along the banks. Captains and crews of motor-assisted vessels of all shapes and sizes are invited to participate in the Jacksonville Light Boat Parade. Registration is open and participation is free.
The deadline to apply was Wednesday, November 15th. Registration is no longer open for this event.
Participants will be judged on overall look and decoration composition.
Judging categories: Vessels under 30'; Vessels 30' and over; Sailboat; and Corporate
It's the Saturday after Thanksgiving...let us do all the work! Come and enjoy the Jacksonville Light Boat Parade without lifting a chair, cooler or blanket. Let us provide everything to make this holiday tradition memorable.
Enjoy this magical event VIP style right along the St. John’s River with indoor and outdoor seating, heaters, and TVs showing college football. Each ticket includes access to multiple food stations such as a pasta bar, mashed potato bar, smores bar, and more, plus 2 drink tickets! The VIP experience offers you premiere seating options and the capability to hear the official audio event announcements and firework music for this year’s Jacksonville Light Boat Parade.

The evening will close with one of the most memorable fireworks shows on the First Coast! Fireworks will be launched from a barge located in the St. Johns River, placed between the Hyatt Regency Riverfront and DoubleTree hotels, as well as the Acosta Bridge. The show will also feature the famous "waterfalls" off of the Main Street and Acosta bridges.
The fireworks show will begin at approximately 9 p.m.
The Jacksonville Light Boat Parade and fireworks show can be clearly viewed from the north and south banks of the St. Johns River. The parade route will begin at the Hyatt Regency Riverfront Hotel and follow the Northbank Riverwalk to the Fuller Warren Bridge. The parade will then cross to the south bank and follow along the Southbank Riverwalk to the Duval County School Board building.
